Den Haag, 5 februari 2024 - In een belangrijke stap naar verdere duurzaamheid in de digitale infrastructuur heeft brancheorganisatie NLconnect twee Product Category Rules (PCR’s) gepubliceerd. Deze regels, gericht op zowel actieve als passieve glasvezelproducten, bieden een gestandaardiseerde methode voor het meten van de milieubelasting in de glasvezel- en telecomindustrie.Een cruciale stap naar duurzaamheidTot voor kort ontbrak het aan een standaard voor duurzaamheidsclassificatie binnen de internationale glasvezelbranche. NLconnect heeft deze lacune nu opgevuld door de PCR's te ontwikkelen.
