Passive components
Reliable components for every fiber-optic connection
Passive components are the silent force behind fiber-optic networks. They do not consume power, but they do play a crucial role in distributing, routing, and connecting signals. Without these components, no optical network can function.
At Netways Europe, we have all the passive components you need to expand your network. These include fiber taps, splitters, patch cables, adapters, pigtails, CWDM and DWDM components, and OADM modules.

Fiber taps
Fiber taps allow you to easily monitor traffic on a fiber-optic connection without affecting your network's performance. Ideal for network management and security.
Splitters
Splitters split a single optical connection into multiple outputs. They are available in various models, such as rack-mounted, box-type, and 1U splitters, depending on your application.
Patch material
Patch cables and patch panels provide flexible and organized connections between network devices. They are indispensable for installations and expansions.
Adapters
Fiber-optic adapters connect fibers to one another and ensure a stable, low-loss connection. Available in various types, such as SC, LC, and ST.
Pigtails
A pigtail is a short fiber-optic cable with a connector on one end and a bare fiber on the other. It is ideal for terminating fibers in patch panels or distribution boxes.
CWDM Components
Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing (CWDM) makes it possible to transmit multiple signals simultaneously over a single fiber. This increases capacity without requiring additional cabling.
Carrier Ethernet demarcation
These solutions mark the boundary between provider and customer networks. They offer clear service level agreements (SLAs) and enable reliable monitoring and management of services.
DWDM components
Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) uses more closely spaced wavelengths than CWDM and is suitable for very high-capacity, long-distance networks.
OADM
An Optical Add-Drop Multiplexer (OADM) adds or removes specific wavelengths from a fiber-optic connection. This makes your network more flexible and efficient without requiring a complete reconfiguration.
